Mission
Purpose of the Job
Produce e-learning module storyboards while applying instructional design processes and following Alstom Technical Institute e-learning directives.

Collect assets accurate information, images, video etc.) to build the storyboards from the Alstom SMEs

Coordinate with Technical Institute suppliers to attain the desired results concerning the e-learning modules.

Use online tools to allow for development and updates of surveys, quizzes and catalogues

Produce “user manuals” for specific on-line learning programmes

Responsibilities and Accountabilities



1. e-learning Instructional Designer



- English proofreading for all storyboards, modules and documents.

- Storyboard completion with guidance from e-Learning Manager

- Working and collaboration relations with SMEs (Internal), Suppliers (External) for the process of storyboard to e-learning module.

- Functionality support for all Tis for the use of the LMS

- Daily link with LMS supplier

- Follow-up on module translation process and quality control with the suppliers



2. LMS and learning program user guide writer



- Write LMS user guides

- Write specific program user guides

- Illustrate and edit user guides



3. Relation with local TIs



- Follow-up on specific TI needs for specific programs



4. Survey and quiz creation



- Create specific surveys and deploy via the survey tool

- Create quizzes and upload into the LMS for deployment



5. Catalogue coordination and updates



- Follow-up with all TIs on their catalogue offerings

- Facilitate updating and specific needs

- Strive for excellence in the catalogue on-line tool

Profil
Educational Requirements
Higher education degree (minimum 2 years) in Instructional design or similar or in technical writing.

Native English speaker.



Experience

Previous work in the e-learning or on-line industry is a plus



Market and Business Understanding

Good understanding of on-line training and pedagogy, knowledge of Learning Management Systems and of content creation tools.

Capacity to analyse customer need and trends.



Native English speaking

Good communication skills (spoken & written) in English and French

Good understanding of multicultural background

Capacity to understand and motivation for technical issues

Aspiration to share knowledge and know-how
